Treatment is the busiest part of the hospital. The day begins with early morning rounds to review the hospitalized patients. Throughout the day a myriad of activities occur: triaging and stabilizing emergencies; outpatient treatments such as fish-hooks, abscesses, and bandage changes; monitoring of post-anesthesia cases; treatment and care of the intensive care patients.
Treatment is heart of the hospital where patients are treated and transferred, admitted and released. Doctors and technicians are able to consult on cases and update treatment plans for individual patients. Because of its central location, patients in treatment and ICU have eyes on them at all times, and an extra pair of helping hands is always available.
