Shave Down: Short-Hair Yes, we know even short-hair dogs shed uncontrollably. Includes everything that “Smooth-Coated Dogs’ receive, plus the shave-down. Shave Down: Long, Thick or Matted The skin under matted fur is often irritated and difficult to groom. Matted coats and excessive undercoats cause health problems for your pet. Mats do not allow for air circulation to the skin, which can cause hot spots, bacteria and fungus infections. Fleas, ticks and other parasites may be lurking. Matted fur pulls and binds, causing pain to your pet when they move or lie down. Includes everything in “Grooming & Style” package plus the shave-down. Talk to our stylist about a maintenance grooming schedule to prevent future matting. Undercoat Blow-Out For thick or long-coated dogs with excessive undercoat. Includes Everything that “Grooming & Style” dogs receive plus our 3-Step De-Shedding Process. This treatment help to remove as much undercoat as possible without damaging your pet’s skin. Cats: Yes, we groom cats! Every cat can benefit from professional grooming, particularly if they have long hair. We offer a full list of services to meet your cat's special grooming needs, including baths, brushouts, and Soft Paws application. GROOMING CONSIDERATIONS
We recommend you look at various hair cuts available for your pet and work with the groomer to find a style that is convenient for you and your pet. Remember, not every hair style looks good on every pet, and some traditional styles, may not be good for your lifestyle (long hair on a Maltese that likes to splash in the mud.) Also please remember that certain styles can only be achieved by diligent and routine professional grooming. If your pet is matted, tangled or has serious skin problems, it may be easiest to give them a crew-cut first, and then work towards a style as the hair grows back. Our groomers are trained to bring to the doctor’s attention health problems that they notice, and with the doctor's permission, can use specially medicated shampoos on your pet. Most animals can be groomed without sedation, but there are some which need either sedation or full-anesthesia (particularly matted cats). You need to set-up these grooming appointments through the veterinarian. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or stop by to speak with the groomer. GROOMING REQUIREMENTS
